The most crucial update to the 2025 Holiday Heroes campaign is the integration of a complementary pre-trip vehicle safety check for all clients. Available at JLR retailers nationwide, this essential preventative maintenance measure ensures all critical vehicle functions are in optimal working condition to withstand the rigours of long road trips, actively helping clients avoid roadside incidents.
The campaign also deploys a fleet of dedicated emergency response vehicles on some of the country’s busiest routes, including the N3 between Johannesburg and Durban, the N4 between Pretoria and Mbombela and, for the first time, the busy N1 route between Pretoria and Polokwane. This ensures a speedy, 24-hour response to emergency situations and roadside assistance where it’s needed most.
Accessing this critical support is designed for ultimate convenience. While assistance is available for travellers in South Africa by calling 012 450 4000, or +27 11 991 8765 for those calling from neighbouring countries, clients with InControl-enabled vehicles can simply push their vehicle’s onboard eCall or bCall button for instant, direct connection to the service team. To maximise this feature, clients are encouraged to update their emergency contact and medical aid details before travelling.

These drive experiences, hosted by skilled instructors, allow participants to get intimately acquainted with JLR’s range of vehicles and build essential skills to expertly handle challenging on-road and off-road scenarios.
