South Africa’s telecommunications industry continues to enjoy growth as device ownership and data usage increases. According to Statista, 20 to 22 million people in the country use a smartphone, and that number is forecast to grow substantially in the coming years. In an effort to cater to this potential Nebular Communications, a fit for purpose solution that does not have any legacy issues has been launched. A leading futuristic, innovative and reliable voice over internet protocol (VolP) telecommunications company, Nebular Communications was birthed from a need to make communications stable, consistent and reliable. Co-founder of Nebular Communications, Brunhilde Mogadime, says, “Nebular Communications has deployed an app that will enable landline telephone numbers on mobile phones in order to ensure that no calls ever get missed.”

The world has changed for good. Companies need to be able to adapt quickly to changing market conditions. The systems are required to be available 24/7 and the office will now go everywhere with workers. Nebular Communications is a female owned and operated business, its founders have been in the Information Technology (IT) business since 2017 and have led other IT organizations to deliver successful projects to the market.

Telecommunications is a high growth industry which is dominated by a few Telco operators and is largely male dominated, the entrance of Nebular Communications in this space is a breath of fresh air. “Nebular Communications is black female owned, in a world that has been male predominant for years, but now women are taking the front seat and so is technology, bringing in change and acceleration to ideas. The essence of feminism in this field does not only add a touch of effervescence to the evolution of this industry’s organogram, it also affirms the existence of safety, comfort and monarchy for our partners” says Mogadime. It is through this partnership that Nebular Communications is able to attentively respond to their technological needs.

Nebular communications will start to dominate the space as users will move away from traditional ways of communications. This is evident in the widespread adoption of WhatsApp, Telegram and the likes. Mogadime notes that the business will be expanding into the rest of the continent, “Africa is the new frontier, in the next two years we will be launching in the SADC region.”
