Hardware and electronics corporation, Acer recently received 12 Red Dot awards for their outstanding product design, brand and communication design, as well as design concepts.
The awards that have been around since 1955, celebrate the smartest and most innovative products of the year. In doing so, they encourage companies to make more substantial design choices to help promote competitiveness and future-proof business prosperity, and ultimately, the global economy.

The products submitted include the Predator Helios 700, a highly powerful gaming machine with a futuristic design. It pushes new extremes through its innovative cooling aesthetic and a unique HyperDrift keyboard with direct air intake – truly a first of its kind.
The Thronos Air, another of the award-winning products, is said to change how games are played in future. While still in line with the iconic sci-fi, futuristic tone of the brand, it promotes an immersive gaming experience with a panoramic view and an anti-wobble latch to limit display movement during fast-paced movement playing.
Next, the Predator X32 which is the world’s first 32-inch DisplayHDR™ 1400 FALD gaming display with NVIDIA® G-SYNC® Ultimate. It pushes image quality and 4K HDR gaming to new extremes with an edge-to-edge ZeroFrame design and is backlit by 1152 Mini LED local dimming zones.
The remainder of the products that proved top of the submissions include the Predator X38P, one of Acer’s biggest gaming screens ever manufactured; Acer B250i, a portable LED projector with powerful audio performance; ConceptD 700, a desktop built with superior graphical performance; ConceptD 9, designed for greater flexibility and superb performance; ConceptD 7, a mobile workstation for 2D and 3D creators on the go; Acer TravelMate P6 (Piano), a capable and portable business laptop; Acer Swift 5, the world’s lightest (less than 1kg) 14 inch laptop; and the Acer Spin 5, an ultra-slim convertible laptop with extreme durability.
