Lighting is everything

It sounds obvious, but the first rule to a great selfie shot is to pay attention to lighting around you, Along with keeping the lighting at eye level, you want to make sure you’re facing the right direction when you take selfies, to make the most of the light, always try to face the light and make sure the light is going towards your nose. Then, angle your camera to be faced down slightly, and snap.

Find the perfect angle

This is not an ID photo so don’t just stand straight and look forward – smile! Find the facial angles that bring out your best features. Tilt your head in different directions and use your front camera to find the best shot. The best angle is easily achieved by lifting your camera up while you slightly tilt your chin down. This will make the features of your face seem more aligned and help you snap the perfect selfie without too much trouble.
