1st of October 2014, Mazda Southern Arica Pty Ltd officially opened its doors for business as a Mazda Motor Corporation National Sales Company responsible for the Mazda Brand in Southern Africa. Today, the company celebrates its 5th Birthday.

The anniversary offers an opportunity to reflect on the major milestones of the business.

These include growing sales volumes by nearly 70% since operation commenced, increasing from 4 500 units sold in 2014 to over 14 500 in 2018. Other regards include an industry first Mazda LIFETIME Parts Warranty, the 3-year UNLIMITED kilometre factory warranty, roadside assistance and service plan on passenger vehicles, while the BT-50 Customer Care Plan assures a like-for-like courtesy vehicle for BT-50 owners. The company has also demonstrated commitment to the South African community with the launch and successful roll out of the Mazda SA Foundation.

Mazda’s current model-lineup which includes Mazda2, Next-Generation Mazda3, CX-3, CX-5, MX-5 and the Mazda BT-50. The range is available through Mazda’s full sales and service dealer network operating in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Swaziland.
