Logitech G, a brand of Logitech and leading innovator of gaming technologies and gear, has unveiled its most accurate gaming sensor ever – the HERO (High-Efficiency Rated Optical) 25K with next-generation precision. This latest update boasts an astounding 25,600 DPI and is available for free to current-generation HERO 16K sensor mouse owners.

HERO 25K is the world’s first mouse sensor that can accurately track movement at a sub-micron level (1 micron = 1 millionth of a metre) while still operating at 10 times the power efficiency of prior Logitech G sensors. The sensor does this without compromising on accuracy, without the use of smoothing or spurious motion, making it one of the most accurate gaming sensors available.
It utilises breakthrough technology only seen in the likes of medical imaging equipment to combine competition-level precision with consistent responsiveness and has the highest performing DPI sensor in the market.
By utilising a smart power management system, the HERO 25K continuously adjusts frame rates based on the movement of the mouse to minimise power consumption, setting a new standard for performance and efficiency in optical gaming sensors.
