FCA and the Italian Football Federation have renewed the sponsorship agreement for another four years. Fiat will be Top Partner and Official Car of the Azzurri once more and the adventure on football pitches will continue. The agreement includes the supply of a fleet of Fiat cars to accompany the FIGC personnel on official and friendly matches and to retreats. In addition, the brand will appear on the training uniforms of the Azzurri and on publicity banners around the pitch. Further activities will involve all teams, from the major national to the women’s and the junior squads.

The renewal will take place tonight on occasion of the 2020 European Championship qualification Italy vs. Bosnia Herzegovina match. Gabriele Gravina, President of FIGC, coach Roberto Mancini, Cristiano Fiorio, Head of EMEA Brand Marketing & Communication and Luca Napolitano, Head of EMEA Fiat & Abarth Brand, shook hands at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. “Fiat wants to take the field directly to support the team of all Italians”, commented Napolitano. “Today, Fiat and FIGC have just turned 120 and continue to work to take on the challenges of the near future and to hold the name of Italy high worldwide”.

Not by chance, the Italian football team has always been a symbol of sportsmanship and human values, bringing together millions of fans and exporting a positive image of the country in the world. The bond is the culmination of a journey that began over a century ago and that has always seen Fiat and Italy together in the social, industrial and cultural evolution of the country.
